Group meetings

GREAT NEWS!

Physical meetings will be on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month and virtual meetings will ONLY be on the 1st Thursday of every month. The times will be 10:30am-12pm each Thursday. But please check the schedule on this page to see whether it is a physical or virtual meeting, if you are still unsure please contact us using the information on the Contact page. Everyone is welcome to both types of meeting!!! 

Below is a list of reasons why group members attend:

– Peer support (empathy not just sympathy)

– Family members’ support (often overlooked)

– Sharing ideas/experiences on recovery

– Reduces isolation/opportunity to socialise/personal goal to attend

– Information highway and signposting

– Positive atmosphere

– No judgement!

– Opportunities to become involved in research (a purpose!)

The physical meetings will be at the Catholic Church Hall, Commercial Street, Bitterne Village. SO18 5EG.
